Do you use a summer learning journal with your students or children? It's so easy and fun, why not?!
They can write about anything they are interested in! And younger students can write a letter or number of the day, or even draw a picture. For middle- upper elementary, try writing a word problem, brain teaser, or riddle of the day. Kids can also use it as a planner/ calendar or to keep track of all the fun things they did each day of the summer. It can even be a reading log for students to record their summer reading and return to their teacher in the fall!
Looking for a quick, easy, and FUN summer school homework? Here's a free printable summer journal page (from one of my summer learning packs). Use it as a journal or planner!
This will help your kids stay organized and motivated all summer long! Plus, it will help them stay on track and keep using their writing skills so they'll be sharp when back to school time rolls around.
Happy (Summer) Teaching!!
