Poly-Long Riddles

We have been discussing polygons as a brief review since we have been focusing on the perimeter and area of polygons.  While talking about it, I noticed some of my students struggle a bit with what exactly parallelograms are.  For instance, they didn't seem to understand that a rectangle is also a parallelogram.  So, that's when I quickly whipped up this practice sheet for them (and now for you for free!).  I have of course also provided the answer key too!

In this sheet, students just shade in the polygons that are parallelograms and when they get done, the left over, unshaded polygons spell out the answer to the riddle.  To download this free worksheet, just click here.
