Better Classroom Management with 5 Questions

A lot of planning goes into my math centers. It is important for me that the centers be educational and engaging. Even with all my preparation, I have a few students that get off task from time to time.

This becomes an opportunity for me to help them take responsibility for their own choices.  I have students move to a designated desk, and then they complete a Think about it! Printable.

I really like the Think about it! printable because it has five questions about the choices the student made and plans to make in the future. It helps the students realize they are in control of their choices. All too often students claim their behavior is someone else’s fault.
