End of the Day Wrap Up Idea

Hi everyone! Are you done for the year or like me have a few more weeks left? If you are getting ready for the end of the year you may like my idea for wrapping up the day with your elementary students. Each day at the end, we write about our day on this summary form I call This is My Week.

At the beginning oft the year I brainstorm with the second graders what the could write and they choose one of the ideas. Then I have them think of their own. By the end of the year, most of my students are filling up entire pages to tell about just one day! It is a great reflection tool, communication piece for parents and writing practice all in one.
