Summer Reading--- When Lightning Comes in a Jar


I love, love, love this story.  It reminds me of summers growing up in the Midwest.  The days were long and after a day of biking and swimming we waited for the sun to go down so we could catch lightning bugs!

It's a wonderful book to share with students to talk about summers and family reunions.  You can download a free set of discussion questions and a craft idea.
