This freebie contains two templates. The first template is used to record highlights of meetings. The second template is used to record highlights of telephone conversations.
I keep a stack of templates on a clipboard near my desk. If a parent calls or stops by, I quickly jot down the highlights of our conversation on the appropriate template. I then file the templates in a binder that has dividers with each student's name. I can easily find and refer to the summaries of my communications whenever needed.
