Teach young children the true meaning of the Easter season with "Signs of New Life from the Lord." This Interactive Sight Word Reader shows evidence of new life that occurs in the spring time, with a final page reminding children that the Cross is a sign of new life as well.
While not appropriate for public school classrooms, this little book is a great Easter follow-up for teachers in Catholic or Christian schools (like me!)
I teach half-day Kindergarten at a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Detroit. Eight years of classroom experiences have guided me into the world of Kindergarten. I have previously taught in First and Second Grade classrooms, but after 5 years as a Kindergarten teacher, I can say with pride that this is the grade which fills my heart with joy and a passion for teaching.
I'm crazy about my classroom and the school I am so fortunate to teach at every day. Since I spend more time in my classroom than any other location, I make every effort to make it a warm, cozy, and happy place.
I graduated from Michigan State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, then went on to complete my Master's degree in Curriculum and Teaching from MSU.
I love all things tidy and organized, bright colors, natural lighting, indie music, new gadgets, NPR, and technology.
