I teach half-day Kindergarten at a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Detroit. Eight years of classroom experiences have guided me into the world of Kindergarten. I have previously taught in First and Second Grade classrooms, but after 5 years as a Kindergarten teacher, I can say with pride that this is the grade which fills my heart with joy and a passion for teaching.
I'm crazy about my classroom and the school I am so fortunate to teach at every day. Since I spend more time in my classroom than any other location, I make every effort to make it a warm, cozy, and happy place.
I graduated from Michigan State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, then went on to complete my Master's degree in Curriculum and Teaching from MSU.
I love all things tidy and organized, bright colors, natural lighting, indie music, new gadgets, NPR, and technology.
