Circus Clown Writing Fun!

Hello!
This is Cindy, otherwise known as Kinderkay, and this has nothing at all to do with Valentines or hearts! Sometimes, though,  it is just fun to do something different, so I thought  I would share this freebie with you!

Our kindergarten has a tradition of doing a circus in January and I needed a few activities that were circus themed based  and followed the CCSS. So, I created a fun pack for my students where they created a clown from construction paper and then wrote about it using the sentence stems; My clown IS, My clown LIKES, My clown CAN. My students had a ball and the clown display is striking on a bulletin board! It takes hardly any preparation and only uses fun scraps that every teacher has somewhere in the classroom! Enjoy!

Also, if you click my blog image, it will take you to a post I wrote about the circus train we created from cardboard boxes for our hallway display! It was a fun and striking display!

Blessings,
