I've been furiously teaching the "CUBES" method for solving math word problems to my students. They did a fantastic job using this method on THE TEST. I was so proud. Have you used this method before? It was new to me this year and I don't think I'll ever tackle another math problem without it again.
I created this poster to help my students remember to "CUBES" their word problems on the test. They even remembered to do so without having the poster up during the test. I guess we practiced it enough :)
