A Simple and Fun Math Routine: The Problem of the Day

Kindergarten and First Grade teachers, do you love the concept of "Math Journals," but lack the time for them?  I love the problem solving focus that math journals provide, but I only have about five minutes for the skill... and unfortunately, the IOWA standardized test that my students take at the end of the school year doesn't allow them to use scrap paper!

If you have the same problem as me, than the "Problem of the Day!" is your answer!

Come visit my blog to learn about this simple routine and download your free copy of the April themed Subtraction Stories!

It's never too late to start a new routine, especially one that is aligned to Common Core Standards and more importantly, is FUN for your students!
