For my students, integers ALWAYS cause confusion. I've tried teaching them several different ways, but in the end, they are just a difficult concept for students to master. Then again, once they 'have it', they 'have it' forever!
I'm not a fan of drill, drill, drill...but there comes a time when your students really just need to practice a certain skill.
