Compare and Contrast Mini-Unit: The Gingerbread Man meets The Runaway Tortilla

Teaching kids to compare and contrast can be a lot of fun, especially when you use great literature!  If your kids love the story of The Gingerbread Man then this is the perfect unit for your classroom.  Your students will compare and contrast the classic version of this story with a new spicier version, The Runaway Tortilla.
This mini-unit includes all the resources you will need to teach compare and contrast with these two stories.   There are materials to allow for differentiated writing instruction, instructions and images of a craftivity, Venn Diagrams, and more.  It also includes extra activities to supplement the reading and allow for speedy students to stay busy.
