Back to School Rules!

One of the most important things that teachers do the first week of school is set up the rules and expectations.  It sets the tone for the entire year.  It's also the time when teachers are using ice breakers to help students free comfortable and get to know one another.  So why not have a fun, and of course FREE, activity to do both?

I like to discuss the rules and expectations the first week of school, but also break it up a bit with a fun ice breaker using my Back to School Causation Cards.  This is a free activity where students are active, moving around, and having some fun - while reviewing rules.

These cards are similar to the "I have... Who has..." cards and are a sure way to get your students enthusiastic for the upcoming school year!

You can read more about them over at my blog post titled Have a Successful School Year with these School Rules (and download them there) or just head straight to Teachers Pay Teachers and download the Back to School Causation Cards free!

No matter what - I wish you to have the BEST upcoming school year ever!
