Are your students confused about area and perimeter? Check this out!

Area and perimeter get my students so confused. Despite drawing pictures, practicing with our bodies, and really tuning into the vocabulary, my students still need extra practice on a regular basis or we are back to square one.

This freebie is perfect for letting the students practice their area and perimeter skills in a fun and easy way. It is self-checking because all the pairs should be in sets of 4 BEFORE they glue. Plus students need to know the appropriate labels for area and perimeter to be able to make the matches. My low friends do this using their math journals for added support, but all my students can do it without much help from me.
