My Favorite First of the Year Book...

Hello All....
I'm excited to be joining the authors here at Classroom Freebies Too...

We're gearing up in TN to head back to school in 2 weeks...
yep...no more summer...
so it's time to start thinking about that first week of school and
 all the fun moments to give my kiddos so they start the year off right...
with a Love of Learning!


One of my favorite books to use on Day One is from one of my favorite author's....

Eric Carle's   

"Today is Monday"

I use Mar Harmon's version of the song to sing and discuss sequence as we go through the
days of the week and all the different foods Mr. Carle associates with them.


I created a card game that can be used like
"Go Fish" or Concentration
with the kids for this wonderful book!
