Oh the craziness that is Halloween in the classroom. Kids excited and high on sugar talking non stop about what they are going to be for Halloween. Instead of fighting that excitement, channel it into a writing activity. With this Guess My Costume freebie, students write in specific detail about their costume and draw a picture of it underneath the description page. Then, their classmates must use their inferencing skills to guess what costume their friend will be wearing. They can clip up the description to check to see if their answer matches the picture.
